La Blanche Stamp Catalogue By Wendy Jones

Wendy created the cover for Little Stamp Catalogue with Easycast Resin on a La Blanche stamp. Then She painted it with perfect pearls and Tim Holtz water brush with the broad tip.. When dry she added some gold metallic rub on.

She stamped all the La Blanche Stamps she own onto tissue and then  applied with Studio multi- medium matte them to pages torn from an old book.

She even painted my flowers with the perfect pearls. She bound my little book with the Zutter Bind it all.She have left lots more pages in my book for the NEW La Blanche Stamps in our store.

Honey Pop Paper with Wendy

Had a play with Honey Pop paper.
I love the Honey Pop paper. I have cut this dress form with Tim Holtz mini sewing room movers and shakers die.

I sprayed the opened form with Tim Holtz Distress  re inker, barn door mixed with water in a mini mister. Then when it was dry a gently rubbed over the surface with gold metallic rub ons. I used Tim Holtz Tattered doily edge die and large tag. With this pop paper you only use 1/2 the design. Love it.

Wendy takes off her shoes!

Wendy had such fun with Tim Holtz Tattered pine cone die to make the tan and black  roses in these shoes. I have also added Prima flowers and cut the photo mat with Spellbinders Floral Oval.....lovo...love...love this one.

She used some gold metalic rubons on the edge of the roses.

She then cut transparent butterflies with the Sizzix die and stamped them with white stazon and added them to the back of the shoes for a whymsical look. Along the sides of the shoes I've used Prima Say it in Crystals. All the product and dies used here are available at www.scottiecrafts.co.nz

Pinkysil Mould Making and Easicast resin by Wendy

This is my latest favourite product.

This was a broach someone gave me and I made a mould with Pinkysil. It set in less than 20 minutes and the white brooch beside it the one I made from Easycast resin. It took only 8 minutes to set then I painted it with Tim Holtz Black Alcohol ink and rubbed over with metallic rubons.

Here is another broach I've used to create a mould that I can now use over and over again with my Easycast Resin to make my own.

This was from a chocolate.Don't eat the chocolate after you have made the mould!

Here is my finished broach as a handbag. Even the needle size holes for the jump rings were repeated in my resin design.

The detail is exact. Love it.

This is the white frame from above. Coloured with Tim Holtz alcohol ink and metallic rub ons.

I even made this rose. I added the alcohol ink into the liquid resin. Love the skirt on this dress form...just to change the subject for a second. Cut it from tulle with the Couture Creations doily die. Wax paper either side of the tulle on the die and shim on top with another piece of paper.

Here is my cameo and the broach that I  made from resin and only coloured with a little Metallic Rub On.

Here are the 2 products I've used.

I've even made a mould of very small charms. The top one in each row is the one I used to make the mould the white one is the raw resin...still needs a trim and a sand. Then the silver metal looking charms are the finished coloured item. Coloured with Tim Holts Alcohol ink black and metallic rub ons. Wow I want to go and make more. Flowers from earrings etc, buttons, anything with texture on it. I'm searching for objects to make into moulds. The possibilities are endless.

Kaisercraft Attitude with Sarah

Benji loved Disneyland, but he did get a little frustrated that he didn't make the height limit for a lot of the rides. He especially wanted to ride the new 'Cars' race track at California Adventure Park but he was no where near big enough (luckily he just made the Mater trucks).

On this day he had been queueing with Sophie to 'meet' princesses all morning. Now don't get me wrong he really loved meeting the characters at Disney, but 8 princesses in one morning was just too much for a guy to take. Here we are in the line for 'Rapunzel' and Benji had really had enough!! To make matters worse he was hot and it was nap time.

My products are all from Scottie Crafts. The paper is part of the Kaisercraft 'Attitude' collection (perfect for my theme I thought lol). I used two masks to distress my background. First I used texture paste over a 'chicken wire' mask and when that was dry I sprayed brown ink over a 'brick' mask. I dry brushed white gesso over it all to blend all the elements together.

I based my page on the current sketch at Lets Get Sketchy. I love the combination of squares and circles. I couldn't resist adding a bit of whimsy to my page by making my large circle into a 'ferris' wheel (I used Baker's twine for the posts).

I added some strip journaling and my title then recounted the story in full on a tag and tucked it behind my photo.
Oh and I should mention that after a sleep and a swim in the hotel pool little Benji was his usual happy self again :)))

Poinsettia with Martha Stewart Maple Leaf Punch By Wendy

Poinsettia  Getting ready for Christmas. Ouch!! Already??
Martha Stewart Maple leaf punch. Punch red and green leaves.

Cut the stems off the leaves and cut them as shown in the photo.

Mist with a little water and sculpt them with a McGill stylus on the McGill mat Best tools ever for making flowers.

Flip them over and press down in the center as shown with the stylus on all leaves.

Cut a circle with spellbinders. The circle is approx 3cm across. The bigger the circle the larger the finished flower.

Glue green leaves onto the circle as shown.

Now add a layer of the red leaves

And another layer of red leaves off setting the petals in each layer. Then glue small gold beads into the center and you are done. Add to cards or layouts etc.

Tanglez, Ranger and Prima layout

Recently Scottie Crafts brought in some Tanglez 12 x 12 Mesh "paper".  When I looked at it my first thought was that it would make a different backing for a layout so took a couple of pieces home with me.
Firstly I used one of the darker natural mesh pieces and sprayed it with Stream and Espresso colour washes. I cut up some Graphic 45 paper for my leaves, added a bit of Prima, some jute string, a key charm and a photo - a quick and easy layout.  You do need a strong glue or hot glue to attach the elements to the layout.

I do have another layout to show you but don't have a photo at the moment but you can see it on the ytube video on Scottie Crafts web page . Yes I am on the video - was so nervous I could hardly speak!

 See you soon
