Tim Holtz Printers Tray by Beverley

Here is the Tim Holtz Printers tray I converted with lots of texture paste, colour washes, inks and embellishments.  SO MUCH FUN!

I first laid out how I wanted my boxes then coated them with Texture paste and let it dry.
I then dabbed sailboat and butterscotch colour washes over the texture paste. Then the embellishments were added Prima and Green Tara flowers, Prima pendants, beads, chipboard, mini bottles, real shells and driftwood, a top of a Tim Holtz Canister used as a porthole. Then I placed gesso and colour wash on the borders of the photos. Then I added glossy accents with microbeads to represent water.

Precious Prima Frames By Wendy

Had a tidy out and found these plastic rings (about 300 of them)...only problem was they were bright yellow.... so I set to and bound them with bias binding. I've then hot glued Prima Natures Garden paper to the back of the rings. I've fussy cut my photos and layed them in the frames then gone wild with prima flowers and leaves. I love the canvas resist butterfly also prima which I have coloured with Tim Holtz stains.

Stepping Out Spellbinder Card by Wendy

I have created this Step card with my Martha Stewart scoreboard and trimmer, Spellbinders Floral ovals and a straight oval  ( I have stamped a  Tim Holtz word stamp on the oval). The butterfly and roses are La Blanche stamps stamped onto Ranger gloss card stock and coloured with distress inks and Cut n dry nibs also by ranger. This is my new favourite way of colouring, ask instore at Scottie Crafts for a demonstration. The white trellis at the bottom of the card is a Martha Stewart punch and the patterned paper is prima. Pretty Shoes to fill by Wendy

I had such fun with Tim Holtz Tattered pine cone die to make the dark brown and tan/black  roses in these shoes. I have also added prima flowers and cut the photo mat with Spellbinders floral oval....love...love this one.

I used some gold metalic rubons on the edge of the roses.
I then cut transparent butterflies with the Sizzix die and stamped them with white stazon and added them to the back of the shoes for a whimsical look. Along the sides of the shoes I've used Prima Say it in Crystals. All the product and dies used here are available at www.scottiecrafts.co.nz  Thanks for following.

Country Garden by Bo Bunny

This month I had the pleasure of designing with these beautiful Bo Bunny ' Country Garden' papers and embellishments. The bright oranges, yellows and blues are perfect for scrapping those summer photos that have accumulated over the last months! The papers are great for fussy cutting too - most of the butterflies on my pages are cut from the patterned papers.

My first LO "Shared memories" is based on the current sketch at the on-line challenge blog 'Once Upon a Sketch'. I used a Crafters Workshop mask to spray my background design. I layered lots of different papers and added some gorgeous 'Prima' flowers and bling. I handmade the hessian flower using my Tim Holtz 'Tattered florals' die and spray adhesive to prevent the edges of the flower from fraying too much.

For my second page I really wanted to use the vibrant orange paper but it didn't match the pink that my girls were wearing in these photos. So I changed my photos to black and white. I used Studio Calico wooden butterflies as masks before spraying over my background cardstock with white Mr Hueys 'Calico white' spray ink. I framed my main photo with a patterned paper circle and added clusters of elements around the circle. I printed my journaling and cut it into strips to adhere to the page.

My final page used up all the Bo Bunny scraps that I had left over!!! I didn't have enough for a background sheet so I used this grey striped paper from the 'Echo Park' Dancer mini-kit which happened to co-ordinate perfectly with both my photo and the Bo bunny papers. I sprayed the paper with orange Adirondack ink and used bubble wrap to add some white paint. I used up my scraps to layer under my photos and added more 'Prima' flowers and die-cut leaves to make a big cluster grounding my photos. The butterflies are cut from my left over scraps of paper.

All the materials for my projects can be found at Scottie Crafts. Do go visit the girls there and take a look at all the beautiful new products that they have in their sparkling new store :)

Do you just love the gorgeous embellishments that come with the gorgeous Glitz Designs papers?!! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! OK, I wont say it again!! But check out the Giant Rhinestones, the Paper Layers, Glitzers, matching Tiny Alphabets etc in the shop or on the website.

This photo that I took two weeks ago, of these 'beautiful young ladies', who were ready for a day at the Elleslie Races to celebrate a Hen's Day Out, was perfect for the Glitz Designs 'Pretty in Pink Collection'. I love this collection!! If you look around the layout you will find GD Paper Layers, Giant Rhinestones, tiny Alphabet, Glitzers, a Peek-A-Boo transparency and of course the very pretty papers. (There is also two Prima wooden accents -love these too!)

All the little flowers have been cut out of the GD Paper Layers, using the new Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers Strip die. Dont you love the GD Giant Rhinestones, that are in the centre of the larger flowers?
The frame, behind, is cut using the Cricut Fancy Frames cartridge.

So, check out this gorgeous  GD collection and find your own pretty in pink lady!
Cheers,
Sue
