COMPUTER GREMLINS AT SCOTTIE CRAFTS!!!!!!
SCOTTIES HAS A COMPUTER GREMLIN...
Hi Scottie Crafters,
We have just discovered that a large chunk of our email database has disappeared, so many of our customers are not receiving our emails.
Our great software guys are working on the problem and will have it sorted next week – or sooner, we hope...
We want to make sure that everyone gets our new shop details so we have delayed sending out that email for the moment.
So, to keep you all going till then, we will be updating the website, blog and facebook with daily updates of our move,
with photos and more so you can move with us.
It is so EXCITING to be going to a NEW, BIGGER and “YUMMIER” store in a more central location.
So, log on daily for news to:
Become a follower on Facebook and/or the blog, leave us a comment about anything to do with the move, new products you want, etc.
AND
You will be in to win a HUGE basketful of goodies.
We will announce the random winner at our store opening.
The more comments and feedback you send the more chances you have to win the prize
And it is REALLY WORTH winning THIS prize...

Book of "I Do" by Wendy
For this little hand made canvas album I have used the Kaiser Sweet Nothings Collection. I cut double thickness of canvas and stitched it together then applied the large eyelets to bind it together with metal rings. I know you can get these canvas pages through Prima which would make this a very quick little album to put together. They are 4 by 6 canvas refill pages. This album was inspired by Trisha Ladouceur from Prima.
In this album I have used Prima flowers and leaves, Say it in Crystals, Prima packages, Prima stamps and resin birdcage. I have also used my favourite seam binding (coloured with Tim Holtz stains Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose), Martha Stewart butterfly and edge punches, Pearl sprays.
This is an opening book page to add more photos and journaling. The little clock is shrink plastic with a Bo bunny stamp. I have also used Spellbinders edge die to cut the black strip. Love these too.
.
Fussy cut around a lot of the patterns in the paper to create pockets so slip photos into.
Above I have done a match book page that opens. (Sorry there is one random leaf sitting on this page that shouldn't be there)
And my most favourite die from Tim Holtz the tattered Pinecone Die....If you don't have this die you need to get it. I have made the roses 7 of them that decorate these pages and I love the branch it cuts out. Doesn't have to be just for Christmas.
Two more fussy cut pages with edges left loose to slip photos under and another Tim Holtz rose.
And the back cover. You can view the finished album instore with photos attached.
Thanks for viewing.

Textured Canvas by Wendy
Whipped up this little canvas in an afternoon after being totally inspired by an awesome artist called Anna Dabrowska. Oh what a mess I made and what fun I had. A very lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon. Now I want to do more. I have used a 6" by 8" canvas. Text paper out of an old book. The Crafters Workshop chicken wire stencil, lots of treasures, Tim Holtz walnut and forest moss stains. Trust me if you try this at home you will want to wear gloves.
Thanks for looking - come look at my new blog

Lost In Venice by Wendy
Well I finally finished my Venice Album and here are the photos. I Have used the Bo Bunny Enchanted range of papers and inked them with Tim Holtz Mustard Seed Distress Ink.
On the inside cover I have used my favourite prima brick wall stamp. Tim Holtz flourish and Prima flowers.
I have used techniques such as stamping on transparency with white stazon. Printing photos on transparency through a laser printer.
I have used Cricut frames. Prima flowers seam binding coloured with Mustard Seed and Black Soot stain. Bo Bunny embellishments. Prima stamps, Cherry Lynn cuts. pearl sprays. Tim Holtz film strip die, Spellbinders dies. Prima rhinestone flourishes. Thickers and sooo much more. I can’t even say it all. I had so much fun to creating My Lost in Venice album
Thanks for looking
Wendy
