Basic Grey Indie Bloom by Lianne
I love this photo of my friend and I walking into the ACDC concert. Have been meaning to scrap it for ages and the Basic Grey Indie Bloom papers and stickers were perfect. Lovely vibrant colours and patterns. I've also used one of the new Crafters Workshop Balzer Designs templates - Chevron, for the background with Adirondack Colour Wash spray - Wild Plum.

More Pink Paislee inspiration by Beverley
I decided to go for the more grungy look in this next layout. The pattern on the pink Paislee Paper was just crying out for some brown ink! I covered the paper with Vintage Photo and Walnut stain Distress stains and then wiped the excess off on the resist areas. Then I painted Hammered Copper Glimmer Glam over the top. Once this was dry I painted an area with white gesso - some of the ink came through so the gesso is an off white colour. The papers used are from an old book and Tim Holtz papers and I have inked the alphas with Walnut Stain Distress stain and Hammered Copper Glimmer Glam. The frame is a Scrapware Frame and embellishments are all Tim Holtz Idea-ology products other then the bird cage charm which was in my stash.
In the following layout I have sprayed the Pink Paislee paper with Wild Plum and Purple Twilight colour washes. Then I have added a Dusty Attic Chipboard trellis window, Prima flowers and a hidden title.
Showing the hidden title.
Thanks for looking!

Pink Paislee and Glimmer Mist Inspiration by Beverley
A couple of months ago I bought the Pink Paislee Mistables collection and had not used it until last week when I received a few bottles of Glimmer mist and a bottle of glimmer glam for my DT kit.
My first layout I did I used all my green Distress stains over each line in the diagonal pattern - I love the vibrant look it gives to the page. I have used a Scrapware frame which is inked black for contrast. The journal spots and the alphas also have a resist effect on them and the fuzzy stickers take the true colour of the stain. The flourish on the page is cut using a Cheery Lynn design die.
For my second layout I sprayed the paper and binding ribbon with the following colour glimmer mists : Denim Blue, Mels diner, pink bubbles and Key lime pie. The flowers are sprayed with Mels Diner and Pink Bubbles - these are the Pink Paislee fuzzy stickers. The journal spot and alphas are sprayed with Pink Bubble glimmermist. I have also painted the background with white gesso. Add some brads, Tim Holtz embellishments and a Zva Creative Flourish and you have a finished layout.
I will share my other layouts soon - Thanks for looking!

Sarah's Challenge! Closes midnight 15th of November
I have been inspired to create LOs using grid patterns recently. Grids are a great way to incorporate numerous photos onto a layout and keep the page looking organised and tidy. Here are a few examples that I have designed recently.
This is also a good way to use up scraps of patterned paper or pages from those cute little 6x6" paper books which are currently very popular ( I used My Minds Eye 'Lost and Found' booklets in these examples).
My challenge is for you to make your own layout based on a grid design. Thats it - easy eh. Upload your page to Mr Linky in the sidebar and be in to win a great prize. Have fun!!!!

Lost and Found Calendar by Wendy
Here is another gorgeous creation by Wendy using Lost and Found papers from My minds eye and calendar paper by GCD studios. The pages are made using Spellbinder dies - Labels 10 and Labels 17. The embellishments are Prima roses, flowers using Rose creation die, Holly bunches, floral sprays, charms, pearls, chipboard and punched branches. The box contains notes in the draw stamped with a Unity stamps Note stamp. The pencil is also covered with the paper.
And the pages are held upright with some Zutter binding.
Thanks Wendy.

Scrapware Inspiration by Wendy
A while ago Wendy created this beautiful Scrapware Shadow box.
Its stunning! Love all the details in it and the clever ideas.
Love how the sewing machine has the thread on it and looks like it has been sewing the ribbon:
Clever use of packaging to make a display case that is so cute!
Thanks Wendy this type of project is one that you could look at for ages and still see something different each time.

Scrapware twinchie project by Sarah
This is the project that I was asked to make for the Hamilton Craft fair. The scrapware 'Twinchie' frame was fun to design with as the little windows can be used for photos or embellishments to make a totally unique project. Several different twinchies are available with different sizes and configuration of the windows. They would make great gifts or festive decorations too.
As a bonus I made a mini album with the left over chipboard rectangles that were pushed out from the windows. I just used a combination of left-over patterned paper and photos to decorate the chipboard 'pages' and held them together with a book ring.
Thanks for looking :)
